Bentley Hale brings over twenty years of restaurant industry experience to the table. She began working in the restaurant industry at age 15 as a host and then became a server and bartender. Over the course of her career, she worked her way up as training manager and bar manager, as well as in corporate and private restaurant management, gaining valuable insights into both front-of-house and back-of-house kitchen operations. As well as working in the restaurant industry, Bentley holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Her graduate thesis focused on restaurant design and marketing. Recently, Bentley has specialized in developing concepts for new restaurant openings, assisting owners with food and beverage menu development, design, and operational assistance.
Hosting staff wine training seminars, creating wine lists with pairing menus, and planning exclusive wine dinners throughout her restaurant career helped Bentley discover her passion for wine education. Bentley’s enthusiasm for teaching others about wine led her to start Sip Happens Wine School which focuses on making wine and spirits education practical and fun. She hosts tasting workshops along with cooking classes at various locations and for private events. |
