Sip Happens Virtual Class by Bentley Hale
Owner- Consultant & Class Facilitator |
Bentley’s enthusiasm for wine developed before she could legally drink it- tagging along with family on wine tasting strolls throughout Paso Robles sparked her interest in wine at a young age. Bentley began working in the restaurant industry at the age of 15 where she was introduced to the professional side of the food and beverage industry. Her hands on experiences have included: dishwasher, bus girl, hostess, server, bartender, and wine sales. Bentley continued working her way up to training manager as well as corporate restaurant and private club management; all while attending and thus graduating from the Art Institute with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design. Her graduate thesis focused on restaurant design and marketing. Alongside working in the restaurant industry, Bentley also has many years of experience working in both hospitality design and construction firms. The past four years Bentley has specialized in new restaurant openings, assisting with full concept development, design, and operations. Bentley's passion for the culinary world coupled with her experience in restaurant operations, design, and marketing creates a well-rounded approach to successful restaurant consulting.
Hosting staff wine training seminars, creating wine lists with pairing menus, and planning exclusive wine event dinners throughout her management career helped Bentley realize her passion for wine education. Bentley’s enthusiasm for teaching others about wine led her to start Sip Happens Wine School which focuses on making wine education practical and fun. |
